What is Plot Twist?
Stories are built one sentence at a time, and each writer sees only the line immediately before theirs. The result reliably goes somewhere nobody intended.
The payoff is the reveal, when the full stories are read back and voted on. It needs a smaller room than most games here — above about 12 the stories get too long to enjoy.
How to play Plot Twist online

The host starts a session and shares the room code.

Everyone starts a story with an opening line.

Stories rotate; you see only the previous sentence and add the next.

After several passes, the full stories are revealed and read back.

The team votes for its favourite and points are awarded.

Do players need an account or a download?
No. Only the host needs a Fun Friday account. Everyone else joins from any browser with a 6-character room code and a display name — no app, no install, no IT ticket.
Why cap it at 12 players?
Each pass adds a sentence to every story, so a large room produces stories too long to read back. For bigger groups, run two sessions in parallel.
