Terms of Service

1. Agreement

Fun Friday is operated from the United Kingdom.In these terms “we” and “us” mean that operator. By accessing or using Fun Friday you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms are governed by English law, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

2. The service

Fun Friday provides an online platform for running team building game sessions. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice.

3. Accounts

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free account.
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.

4. Playing as a guest

You can join a session as a guest with a room code and a display name, without creating an account. You can also host one: guests may start a limited number of sessions from our free games each week, with the same player limit as the free plan. Guests must be at least 16 years old, and the acceptable use rules in section 6 apply to them in full.

The display name you choose and the answers you submit are visible to everyone else in that session, and remain visible to the team that ran it. A guest-hosted session is not attached to any account, so its scores and history are not saved to a profile and cannot be recovered once the session has been deleted under the retention period in our Privacy Policy.

5. Teams and plans

Fun Friday is in beta and we are not charging for it. Every feature on every plan is currently available to any account at no cost. We do not ask for or hold payment details, so no charge can be made to you, and no subscription is created or renewed.

We expect to introduce paid plans in future. If we do, we will tell you in advance by email and on the site. Nothing will be charged automatically: to move to a paid plan you would have to choose one and enter payment details yourself. If you do not, your team moves to the free plan and keeps using it indefinitely.

Content your team creates while we are in beta — including custom packs, results and session history — stays readable to your team afterwards whatever plan you are on. Plan limits may restrict creating new content, but they will not remove access to what you have already made.

Team owners remain responsible for managing their team, including member access. Plan limits (player counts, game frequency, feature access) are enforced as described on the Pricing page, which also shows the prices we expect to charge later.

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Harass, abuse, or harm other participants.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the platform.
• Submit content that is offensive, discriminatory, or infringes third-party rights.
• Circumvent plan limits or access controls.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without notice.

7. Content

You retain ownership of any custom content you create (e.g. custom question packs). By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to store and serve it within the platform. Built-in game content (trivia questions, prompts, word packs) is owned by us.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fun Friday is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. We will give at least 14 days' notice of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance.
