What is Top Rank?
You are given five things and asked to rank them. You are not scored on your own taste, but on how closely your ranking matches the group's consensus order.
It is engineered to start friendly arguments, and the arguments reliably continue in Slack for days afterwards, which is arguably the highest return on a fifteen-minute session in the catalogue.

When to run Top Rank
When you actively want an argument
It is engineered to start one, and the arguments reliably continue in Slack for days afterwards. That is arguably the highest return on a fifteen-minute session in the catalogue.
A culture or values conversation you want to sneak up on
The office-perks and meeting-types prompts surface what the team actually values far more honestly than a survey does, because nobody is answering a survey.
Any size of room, up to fifty
Everyone ranks at once and the consensus is computed from all submissions, so the round takes the same time whether there are five players or fifty.
Top Rank questions
Do players need an account or a download?
No. Only the host needs a Fun Friday account. Everyone else joins from any browser with a 6-character room code and a display name — no app, no install, no IT ticket.
Are you scored on your own opinion?
No — you are scored on predicting the group. Having unusual taste is not penalised, as long as you know your team well enough to guess where they will land.
